A consistent reading across the people you are responsible for.
Where communication is being discussed across a team — in promotion conversations, internal mobility decisions, succession planning — Silk Clarity provides a shared reference point so those conversations can be held in the same language.
The problem this solves for the people you manage.
Most teams talk about communication in different language — coaches use one vocabulary, managers use another, HR uses a third. Silk Clarity gives a department, function or leadership team one shared reference point: the same six dimensions read the same way for every person.
Who it is for
Department heads, function leads, HRBPs and team coaches responsible for the development of a defined group of people.
Typical use cases
Promotion conversations, internal mobility, succession planning, leadership development programmes, post-merger team alignment.
Expected outcomes
Better-calibrated promotion decisions, earlier sight of pressure points, common language between manager and coach, longitudinal record of development.
What the manager view actually looks like.
The team-level view is built around the questions managers ask in development conversations — not a separate analytics console for someone else to admire.

Reading across the team
Members read against the same methodology, side by side.
Where the team is distinctive
The behaviours the team tends to do well.
Where pressure exposes the team
The behaviours that tend to weaken when conditions become demanding.
Senior exposure
Roles where communication patterns and stakeholder exposure deserve a second look.
Scenario assignment
Specific scenarios can be reviewed where useful.
Quarterly written report
A document to read and discuss, not a dashboard.
Aggregate views require a minimum cohort of four, to protect individual privacy.
What the team and its manager receive.
Every artefact below is produced for real engagements. The samples are illustrative — actual reports use the same typographic system.
Individual Communication Signature™
One per team member — observed pattern summary, evidence-linked.
Team capability view
Aggregate strengths and pressure points, with department comparators.
Evidence library
Source evidence behind every dimension score, exportable.
Quarterly written report
A narrative document for the team's manager and HRBP — patterns, not dashboards.
Sample analytics
Department trends, before/after movement, succession-readiness indicators.
Communication brief extract
Two-page brief format used for cross-team conversations.
Six structured evidence streams, six dimensions, governed by design.
The methodology is the same across individuals, hiring and teams. What changes is how the evidence is rolled up and discussed.
One Communication Signature™. Many evidence sources.
AI synthesises evidence. People make decisions. Every insight is traceable to its source.
- Communication BaselineRequired

What deployment looks like for a single team.
Team deployments are intentionally light. There is no procurement track, no SCIM, no admin console for ten people.
Week 1 — Setup
Manager confirms the team list and the development question being asked. No IT integration required.
Weeks 1–2 — Member assessments
Each team member completes the assessment in approximately 20 minutes. Mobile-first, pausable, resumable.
Week 3 — Team read
Manager and HRBP receive the team view, the per-member signatures and a written narrative.
User onboarding
Members receive a personal Communication Signature™ alongside the team read. The same instrument used by individual executives on themselves.
Security & privacy
EU data residency, GDPR-compliant processing, individual consent at assessment, aggregate views gated by minimum cohort of four.
Data governance
Members can withdraw data on request. Manager view does not expose raw responses. Audit log on every dimension.
Is this used to rank or compare members publicly?+
No. The team view exists for the manager and HRBP. Individuals receive their own Communication Signature™; they are not ranked against colleagues.
What is the minimum team size?+
Aggregate team views require a minimum cohort of four. Smaller teams can still run individual signatures.
Does it integrate with our HRIS?+
Not at team scale. HRIS integration is an Enterprise-tier capability.
Can a coach use this with their own team?+
Yes. The manager view and a coach view are the same view — the question is who has been given access.
What happens after the first cycle?+
Teams that continue typically run on a quarterly or semi-annual cadence so movement is observable.
Is this the right tier?
The teams tier is appropriate for a single department, function or leadership group. It is not the right tier for organisation-wide deployment.
Suitable size
4–50 people in a defined team, function or leadership cohort. Beyond that, the Enterprise tier is the right fit.
What is included
Individual Communication Signatures, team capability view, quarterly written report, manager / HRBP access.
Pricing guidance

Manager debrief, team workshop, individual development cycles — added per engagement, not bundled.
Not included at this tier
SSO/SCIM, organisation heat maps, private scenario library, custom benchmarking — these sit in the Enterprise tier.
Upgrade path
